Day 1: Arrival At Srinagar
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport you will be met by our representative and transfer to Hotel or Houseboat for check in. In the afternoon you take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens and open Dal Lake. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Dinner and overnight in Hotel or Houseboat
Day 2: Srinagar (Excursion To Sonmarg)
After breakfast leave for Sonmarg called as “Meadow of gold” has its backdrop, Snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the Sonmarg valley abounds with trout and Mahseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajwas Glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Return back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel or Houseboat.
Day 3: Srinagar To Pahalgam
After early breakfast we check-out from our hotel or Houseboat and leave for Pahalgam called as “Valley of Shepherds“. En-route visiting saffron field, Awantipura Ruins 19th century and Mutton temple. Enjoy the nature and walk around the bank of river lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Pahalgam is also famous for Indian film Industry (Bollywood). One can go for the sightseeing of Chandan Wari, Aru and Betaab Valley (on their own). Upon arrival we check in at our hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Pahalgam Local Sightseeing
After breakfast full day free to enjoy and explore the beauty of “Pahalgam”. (own cost) One can go to Chandanwari (16 Kms) is starting point of Amarnath Pilgrimage “The Abode of Shiva” or Aru (10 kms from Pahalgam) has a fine meadow of picturesque scenery and starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier and Trsar Lake). Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5: Pahalgam To Gulmarg
Post breakfast we check-out from hotel and drive to Gulmarg (8,825 feet) “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg has a very famous Golf Course during Summer (which is one of the highest 18- hole Golf Course in the World) and Ski resort during winter. One can have Gondola Ride (cable car from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg on their own). Upon arrival in Gulmarg we check-in at our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Gulmarg to Srinagar
After breakfast we drive to Srinagar and start our sightseeing tour with Shankaracharya temple, it is believed that it was the place where the great philosopher and saint Shankaracharya stayed when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanatan Dharma. The original ceiling was dome- shaped and the brick roof is not more than a century old. And later proceed further to Hazratbal Mosque, situated in a Village on the western shores of the Dal Lake opposite Nishat Bagh, it is a pristine white marble edifice casting its reflection in the waters of the lake. Unlike the other mosques in Srinagar, which have a pagoda like roof, Hazratbal is the only mosque to have a domed roof mosque in Srinagar - the others having distinct Pagoda like roofs Gardens and Jama Masjid, situated in the heart of the old city of Srinagar, this huge mosque is visited by thousands of people who congregate here for the Friday prayers. Later in the afternoon we take a sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens starting our visit to Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). After visiting above gardens we drive back to Hotel or Houseboat. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel or Houseboat.
Day 7: Departure at Srinagar
Check-out from the hotel and proceed towards the airport to board your return flight.
